Every state's Department of Insurance maintains a public producer-lookup tool. Below is mine — NPN, status, expiration — with a direct link to verify in each of the 23 states I'm currently licensed.
Click any state below to open its Department of Insurance producer lookup in a new tab. Search by my NPN 18338319 for the cleanest result. Some state tools require navigating their search UI — instructions are in the link.
// Every licensed producer in every state has a public NPN. If a broker won't give you theirs — or worse, doesn't know what it is — that's a hard no. The NPN is how you check whether someone is real, whether they've been disciplined, and what they're actually licensed to sell.
I can typically get licensed in your state within 2–3 business days through reciprocity (most states recognize Florida's resident license under uniform compact rules). If you need coverage in a state I'm not currently in, just ask — I'll either get licensed or refer you to a broker I trust who already is.
For a single-source confirmation across all jurisdictions, you can also verify through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) — search by my NPN 18338319. NIPR is the official back-end that powers every state's lookup.
